چکیده
The importance of high-resolution and continuous hydrologic data for monitoring predicting water levels is crucial sustainable management. Monitoring Total Water Storage (TWS) over large areas by using satellite images such as Gravity Recovery Climate Experiment (GRACE) with coarse resolution (1°) acceptable. However, TWS changes a small area challenging. In this study, we used the Random Forest model (RFM) to spatially downscale GRACE mascon image April 2020 from 0.5° ~5 km. We initially eight different physical hydrological parameters in finally four most significant them final output. executed RFM Mississippi Alluvial Plain. validating R2 each was 0.88. Large RMSE MAE are indicative good fit accurate predictions RFM. result research aligns reported depletion central Delta area. Therefore, appropriate input model, can provide more beneficial that be activities groundwater management at sub-county-level scale Delta.

متن کاملCharacteristic mega-basin water storage behavior using GRACE
[1] A long-standing challenge for hydrologists has been a lack of observational data on global-scale basin hydrological behavior. With observations from NASA's Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) mission, hydrologists are now able to study terrestrial water storage for large river basins (>200,000 km2), with monthly time resolution. Here we provide results of a time series model of ...
متن کاملAssessing Terrestrial Water Storage and Flood Potential Using GRACE Data in the Yangtze River Basin, China
Floods have caused tremendous economic, societal and ecological losses in the Yangtze River Basin (YRB) of China. To reduce the impact of these disasters, it is important to understand the variables affecting the hydrological state of the basin. In this study, we used Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) satellite data, flood potential index (FPI), precipitation data (Tropical Rainfa...
متن کاملProviding DRASTIC maps to assess potential vulnerability in Kohnak aquifer using GIS
Nowadays the study of regional groundwater resources, because of draught ,their optimal exploitation, and reducing their pollution is a vital matter. A proper way to prevent the pollution of undergroundwaters is to locate vulnerable spots and to conduct an efficient exploitation of the ground. Using thepresent models is very essential to locate and study about vulnerable spots. For this study, G...
متن کاملEstimation of Hydrodynamic Coefficients of Zouzan Plain Aquifer Using of Electrical Sounding Data
Knowledge of hydrodynamic coefficients is necessary for the determination of natural water flow through an aquifer and management of ground water resource. In this study, in order to determination of hydrodynamic coefficients of Zouzan aquifer results of 112 electrical sounding have been used. Quantitative interpretation was done by using IPI2WIN. Values of formation factor and porosity were de...
